So i've been mountain biking for most part of a year now. I fancy a go at this 4x racing as it sounds up my street, competitive, gravity assisted and jumps! I live in north coventry (away at Uni in Lincoln at the moment)

So where do I start? I'm a girl. I ride motorbikes on and off road. I'm 22. I have a car to chuck the bike in.

Also is a Met Parachute sufficient to have a go and see if I like this sport? As I can't see me buying a new lid just to give it a go. Motobike lids are bit too heavy..

oh and I ride a MArin Northside Trail which should be okay for giving 4x a go

Discuss / advise/ take the piss.

Simple

where abouts is your track? there are a set of jumps near my house that the local kids have built to such an extent no one riders them any more. they're huuuge! Off to Sherwood pines on Sunday to do a lap and do a few jumps. Not been there for months.

With regards to the helmet. I got it because i'm prone to face planting stair cases and drop offs. still recovering form a 70% tear of my thigh muscle I achieved in January when I went for a quick sesh near my house but didnt check the jump to see it had been ''rebuilt'' and was soft as sh*t... few weeks on crutches later and i'm left with a handicapped thigh, though it's slowly getting back to normal.
